Bio

Dr. Jennifer (Jenny) grew up in Midwest, MN on an organic farm near a small town called Hancock. Her passion to help people live healthier and experience a more abundant life all started with her family’s holistic views on health. Ever since she was young, Dr. Jenny knew from a young age she wanted to help people maximize their health and recover from sickness or injuries naturally.

Dr. Jenny attended college at the University of Minnesota Morris (UMM) for her liberal arts degree. She received her B.S. in Biology along with her certificate in coaching. While at UMM she played softball and basketball for the Cougars. During her 4 years in college Jenny worked in the UMM athletic training room taping, applying therapies and assisting the athletic trainers on the sidelines taking care of athletes and any injuries. She gained valuable experience working alongside the trainers supplying therapy and rehabilitation protocols to the college athletes.

Following college she decided the best way to further her education in the healthcare field was through chiropractic. Jenny attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN for her Doctor of Chiropractic. While at NWHSU she expanded her knowledge outside of the classroom and was also involved in a numerous variety of seminars and clubs. She has additional training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Advanced Muscle Palpation (AMP) and Applied Kinesiology. She also preforms "Charet" extremity adjusting protocol and Torque Release Technique (TRT).

Dr. Jenny gained valuable experience through her chiropractic internships. She was placed in a spinal correction clinic for one rotation and a functional medicine clinic which was followed by two rotations at pediatric specific clinics. She developed a desire to help mothers and babies/children experience life and vitality at a 100% through chiropractic care and nutritional guidance. For her final internship she was inspired by her cousin to venture out to Montana to learn more about sports chiropractic with Dr. Wilhelm, an Olympic chiropractor with his Pro Chiropractic team.

Dr. Jenny grew to love the community and everything the MT life had to offer. She decided to join the team when offered a job at Pro Chiropractic. She worked at Pro Chiro for 3.5 years. While in MT she achieved her pregnancy and pediatric certification (CACCP) and specializes in providing family care. She has a light technique for expecting mothers, babies and children. Due to her past experiences with sports and working in the athletic training room, she also provides sports injury care through soft tissue rehab and extremity mobilizations.

Dr. Jenny met and married her husband in MT and they decided to move to her hometown in MN where she has started her own chiropractic office, Life Design Chiropractic. When Jenny is not working in the office she spends most of her time with her husband, daughters and family, playing sports and working on the farm with animals. Jenny's hobbies are playing basketball, volleyball, or softball, hiking, snowmobiling, snowboarding or working with animals. She is an outdoor fanatic and if she isn’t outside working or playing sports she will be found in the gym coaching. She is also involved in her church community and enjoys teaching Sunday school along with playing guitar, piano and singing. She is excited to help others increase their vitality by utilizing chiropractic care and aims to serve the community by restoring, increasing and maximizing health and healing from within. If she is unable to help then Dr. Jenny refers to other practitioners as needed to help her patients find the solution to their healing potential.
